Period / Coverage:
Yamaha generators are warranted to be free of manufacturing workmanship defects for a period of two (2) years (First year parts with labor and Second year labor only). This warranty is limited to Yamaha power equipment when distributed by YPEL (Pvt). Ltd. and/or their authorized dealers and is applicable from the date of Purchase.
What Yamaha Will Repair or Replace Under Warranty:
Yamaha will repair or replace, at its option, any part that is proven to be defective in material or workmanship under normal use during the applicable warranty period. Warranty repairs and replacements will be made without charge for parts or labor. Anything replaced under warranty becomes the property of the company. All parts replaced under warranty will be considered as part of the original product and warranty on those parts will expire coincident with the original product’s Warranty.
To obtain Warranty benefits the equipment and it’s Warranty card must be presented to any authorized service dealer Premises at customer’s risk and expense. No Warranty can be claimed without presentation of the warranty card.
All the transportation & Handling charges will be borne by the customers.
Yamaha will NOT Warrant the following Items \ (EXCLUSIONS):
Any damage or deterioration resulting from the following:
Operating methods other than those indicated in the product owner’s manual.
Improper repair or maintenance.
Neglect of periodic maintenance as specified in the product owner’s manual
The use of non-genuine Yamaha parts and accessories other than those approved by Yamaha (except recommended lubricants and fluids.)
The parts listed below are not covered under warranty (unless they are needed as a part of another warranty repair):
Spark plug, fuel filter, air cleaner element, wheels, recoil starter rope, cables, lubricants (oil, grease and fuels), meters, batteries and all the generator electrical components (Capacitor, AVR, Coils, Winding,etc.)
Cleaning, adjustment, and normal periodic maintenance work.
Maintenance Service Policies:
Customers are request to take permission from the office of Electrical Inspector for the installation of generator as per their requirements.
In case the customer decides to use ATS/AMF with this machine please consult with Yamaha Technician regarding the quality of the same.
It is recommended to get the generator serviced periodically every 2 to 3 months to keep its running efficiently.
